Overview SIMARON is one of the new generation of Burgers featuring an aft engine room layout and wide beam design with full walk around side decks. All exterior decks are laid teak, including the flybridge deck. The high level of quality throughout SIMARON is evident even to the casual observer. SIMARON features finely detailed American cherry wood joiner work with raised panel cabinetry and Medrone burl wood inlays. The extensive use of intricately carved crown moldings, exotic granite and marble counter tops, leather and designer fabric upholstery make this one of the most stunning interiors produced by the Wisconsin shipyard.
Accommodations SIMARON sleeps six in three double staterooms. The staterooms are accessed via the cherry paneled stairway from the main deck salon. At the bottom of the stairway is a central foyer with marble flooring and a recessed sculpture niche built into the bulkhead opposite the landing area. A linen locker is adjacent. Solid raised panel cherry doors and bulkhead panels surround the foyer.
Master Double arched doors open into the master stateroom, with port and starboard cedar walk-in closets outboard. A centerline king sized berth is set against the forward bulkhead with beveled mirrors, bedside tables and reading lights on each side. Flanking the master berth to port and starboard are beautifully crafted, solid cherry dressers built in below opening portlights. The portlights are concealed behind cherry wood louvered shutters. A lift top vanity is to port and a full length, beveled mirror is framed into the aft bulkhead. His and hers heads are forward, accessed from either side of the berth. A large, marble lined steam room/shower with a built-in bench seat divides the two heads. Kohler fixtures include a floor mounted steam port along with eight independent shower heads for maximum luxury. Floors and countertops in the heads are marble, with under mounted sinks. Exquisite alabaster sconces as well as overhead and indirect lights illuminate the heads. The master stateroom is furnished with a complete entertainment system and phone set. A small refrigerator is built in for the owner’s convenience along with a safe for valuables.
Guest Staterooms There are port and starboard double staterooms aft from the foyer with arched doorways mimicking the master stateroom entry doors. The port guest stateroom is a VIP cabin, with an athwartship queen berth. The starboard guest stateroom has twin lower berths. Both guest staterooms are furnished with cedar hanging closets, built-in dressers, and integral entertainment systems as well as phone sets. Each cabin has an en-suite marble lined head with shower, also fitted with Kohler multi-head shower fixtures.
Crew Quarters The crew quarters are all the way forward, accessed by a stairway from the pilothouse. Bulkheads and built-ins are of American cherry woodwork matching the remainder of the yacht. To port is a private captain’s cabin with hanging locker, 10 drawers, an entertainment system, telephone, and opening portlight. To starboard is a crew berth with hanging storage and drawers below. The crew berth also has its own entertain- ment center and telephone. The laundry center is in the crew quarters. The crew head is forward with a separate stall shower. There is an escape hatch to the foredeck from the crew head, with a stainless steel ladder.
Main Deck Arrangement The main deck superstructure is surrounded by teak walk around side decks with railings inboard and outboard for safe transit in all conditions. The yacht’s interior is accessed from the forward pilothouse sliding doors to port and starboard, or from the aft deck through double doors into the main salon.
Aft Deck The aft deck is furnished for “al fresco” dining with a built in bench seat across the stern facing a stainless steel pedestal mounted teak table. The "euro" style transom has a built in stairway to starboard leading to the swim platform and engine room access hatch. To port, there is a gate in the transom weather rail which leads to the passerelle gangway when deployed. Engine room access is through a watertight pantograph door on the transom or, when underway, through a deck hatch from the aft deck. There are four, folding teak arm chairs for additional aft deck seating. Varnished teak and glass wing doors to port and starboard give access to the side decks leading forward. Burger’s trademark teak cap rail surrounds the entire vessel from stem to stern, beautifully finished in high gloss varnish.
Main Salon The main salon has large picture windows all around with excellent visibility on three sides. Aft to port is the salon seating area with a sofa and two occasional chairs surrounding a wood and glass coffee table. Opposite to starboard is the built-in thin screen plasma television which drops down out of sight when not in use. A finely crafted game table is forward of the television cabinet, with a pair of arm chairs and concealed storage for backgammon, chess, and other board game pieces. Forward in the main salon is a custom built, round table with four matching chairs for formal dining. The dining table is flanked on each side by buffet level cabinets for tableware and supplies. The salon overhead is accented by a coffered ceiling framed by carved cherry crown moldings with indirect lighting accents along with halogen recessed lighting. The salon carpet is a custom woven wool blend with patterned border detail.
Galley Forward of the main salon to port is the galley, which is open to the salon or it can be closed off by deploying a beautifully fitted, folding partition consisting of a series of solid cherry panels. When closed it appears to be a permanent bulkhead, while opened, it pockets into the surrounding woodwork. Three upholstered stools provide for informal seating at the marble galley counter. All galley appliances are built-in, with matching cherry wood fronts in keeping with the elegant details found throughout the yacht. Opposite the galley to starboard is a built-in cherry cabinet containing a high capacity ice maker and a separate wine cooler.

Pilothouse Forward on the main deck is the pilothouse. The instrument panel is inset into a high gloss burl wood console and surrounded by black leatherette. Fore and aft are large, natural cherry drawers and cabinetry for navigation equipment and charts. The teak and stainless ships wheel and teak and ebony sole add to the ambience of this area, further complimented by the unique, black vinyl headliner. Aft of the helm, a black leather bench seat and pedestal-mounted table provide comfortable seating while underway or dockside. Visibility from the pilothouse is excellent, with five flat panel windows across the front with separate windshield wipers and washers. Port and starboard Freeman double latching sliding doors from the pilothouse provide quick access to the side decks. Stairway access to the flybridge is from the pilothouse, offset to starboard. Flybridge SIMARON has one of the nicest fly bridges to be found on a yacht of this size. The stairs from the pilothouse are built for easy access with wide treads and moderate rise to each step. The one piece, aluminum framed access hatch has a clear polycarbonate top and front for visibility when closed.
The flybridge helm station is centered forward, with a fully adjustable Stidd helm chair. To port and starboard of the helm are built-in, forward facing companion seats. The flybridge area is protected from the elements by a shipyard installed aluminum hard top and a three sided isinglass enclosure. There is a center island bar area beneath the hard top which, along with built in cabinetry to port and starboard, contains appliances and storage for flybridge entertaining. Three pedestal mounted swiveling stools are positioned at the bar counter. In addition to the usual flybridge sink, ice maker, and refrigerator, there is also a Miele dish washer along with a Gaggenau grill top and deep fryer. There is ample cabinetry for dishes, glassware, and utensils.
There are L-shaped banquettes to port and starboard with storage beneath. A large, rectangular pedestal table is positioned in front of the port banquette with three additional teak folding chairs for flybridge dining while the starboard banquette has a small cocktail table in front of it. A roll up awning can be extended aft from the hard top to cover the seating/dining area for additional shelter from the elements.
